The Limbless Association provides support, information and connectivity to the limb loss community. We are a long-standing charity based in Chelmsford in Essex, which through our stakeholder networks, extends our reach as an organisation operating and connecting nationally.

We are excited to announce that we have received external funding from the Childwick Trust to recruit a South East Hub Development Officer to support the development of local Hubs across the South East.

The LA Support and Connect Hubs project aims to develop LA support communities and networks at local and regional level across the UK.

Working remotely as part of a small team, you will have experience of working in the voluntary sector, setting up and managing user led projects. You will be confident working with and developing volunteers, raising awareness and engaging with all our stakeholders.

The successful person will have a positive can-do attitude and a real understanding of the limb loss community and sector. You will need drive and enthusiasm to get the Hubs up and running effectively to tight timescales.

As a professional, pragmatic and self-motivated professional, you can be part of shaping this important and well-respected national project.

In return, we offer the opportunity to work in a fantastic supportive team, excellent terms and conditions and a commitment to develop all our staff to do the best job they can.

Applications from candidates who have experienced limb loss are particularly welcome.
