Their Governance Team is looking for a talented and engaging Risk and Compliance Officer to join their dedicated team.
What you'll be doing
Working as part of Governance team, you will have a friendly and professional attitude and be driven by a desire to ensure good governance.
You’ll be on the front line, working closely with colleagues to help them manage risk, improve control effectiveness and drive a culture of continuous improvement. You will be offering expert advice and support on all things risk and compliance, helping leaders to make risk-based business decisions.
You’ll lead on the delivery of the overall assurance framework, and support the Director of Governance in ensuring the Board and the Executive have appropriate line of sight in respect of risk, governance and controls.
What they’re looking for
A degree or equivalent training/experience, including experience of offering specialist advice on risk management and compliance matters.
The ability to prepare, present and interpret complex reports, including reports for senior stakeholders.
The ability to co-operate with and respect colleagues while providing robust challenge.
The ability to embed risk management culturally across an organisation and to be able to work constructively and collaboratively as part of a team.
When and where you'll be doing it
Nominally working from the Head Office in Bath, with core hours of 37 hours/week you will be able to work flexibly. You will be responsible for organizing your own workload and setting your diary appointments.
