Care Manager (Community Support Services)
Southend-on-Sea, with frequent travel throughout Essex required
£35,553 per annum + essential car user allowance
Hours: 35 per week
Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity until 31st July 2021
Closing date: Midday (12:00) on 7th October 2020 Interview date: 14th October 2020 The Role Our client currently have an excellent opportunity to contribute to the work of the Care & Support team. Their Community Support services offer individual, tailored assistance to enable adults with learning disabilities in their own homes to maximise their independence and have greater inclusion in the community. As Registered Manager, you will focus on and be accountable for the delivery of excellent services. Using your management experience you will lead your team, with the support of a Team Leader to provide high standard quality care for people living in their own homes. You will also be responsible for developing new business and growing the Association’s Community Support services as well. Requirements Our client are looking for an experienced senior care professional with strong leadership and management skills. A thorough understanding of the care sector, its regulatory requirements and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with local authorities and external stakeholders are key for this role. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with confidence in representing the Community Support service both internally and externally. Above all, you will be motivated by the need to deliver an excellent service and real continuity of care to ourr customers. This post involves regular travel to their services across Essex; therefore, a full clean UK driving licence and access to your own car are also required.
