Our client is an independent housing association providing excellent housing management services to over 5,200 tenants and 260 leaseholders in Gloucester.

Our client is looking for a self-motivated individual who is highly organised and can demonstrate a strong customer focus. 

The role is a busy one, with many different tasks required to be undertaken by a very well organised individual. You will have management responsibility for PropertyCare, our in-house repairs and maintenance service. You will also have direct management responsibility for the Estate Service Worker Supervisor, Senior Repairs Supervisor, Electrical Manager and Gas Manager.

You must have a comprehensive understanding of delivering a repairs and maintenance service, with high levels of customer satisfaction, along with a sound knowledge of managing contractors and suppliers.

You will also play a key role in supporting our Value for Money Strategy, ensuring Property Care operates efficiently, effectively, economically, balancing the need to continually improve or maintain high tenant satisfaction levels. You will also be responsible for regularly reviewing our cost metrics to grow the service either by delivering more in-house works or through commercial activity. 

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team you will work with the Executive Leadership team to set the strategic direction of the organisation and work with the Operational Managers to review and develop services, setting smart goals and directing employees to achieve results as required by the corporate plan and business plan in line with the Mission, Vision and Values of the organisation.
