Job Details

We are looking for an experienced Administration & Events Coordinator to play a pivotal role in VSNW's work. Initially the role is offered on a fixed term basis to 31 March 2021. We aim to extend the role but cannot guarantee this at this time. 

Main purpose: To organise VSNW’s day to day operations, support VSNW’s senior management team, build an effective membership programme and lead on a programme of events to support VSNW’s work.

We are a small team, normally based in Northern Quarter / Ancoats in Manchester, currently working remotely. We would hope a successful candidate could both work from home and travel to our main office which is situated between Piccadilly and Victoria Stations, depending on circumstances.

VSNW - Voluntary Sector North West is the regional voluntary sector network for the North West. Our purpose is to ensure that the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, in all its diversity, takes its full part in shaping the future of the North West. 

VSNW works with over 140 members who work across the region directly supporting and delivering services for individuals, or are VCSE infrastructure organisations that work with local voluntary and community groups.

The 40 infrastructure organisations in membership of VSNW have a membership of 6,780 VCSE groups and are in contact with 19,800 local voluntary and community sector groups in the North West - just under two-thirds of the region’s VCSE groups.
