£55,000 per annum, pro rata

Part-Time - 21 per week to be worked flexibly in an agile way 3 days per week

Our client provides homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester and has big plans to build more over the next five year. Remaining community focussed is key to this and they are looking for someone to help them do this.

They need someone who will lead the establishment and development of a sustainable Greater Manchester Community Led Housing Hub (GMCLHH), that will increase the delivery of community led housing. They need to set up the hub as a viable and successful organisation, engaging with and providing support to emerging and established community led housing groups and delivering new community led housing schemes across Greater Manchester.

But it’s not just about engaging with a range of stakeholders, including Local Authorities, the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, media, housing providers and crucially, community led housing groups. They’re looking for someone who will deliver a business plan, set up an appropriate governance structure and ensure that the Hub meets its aims of enabling communities to develop new homes.

With excellent project management skills, you will have experience of community led housing and the range of approaches, as well as knowledge of local authority & government strategies for community led housing.
