Social Enterprise Manager
Salary £40k per annum
35 hours per week average (flexible)
25 days A/L + contributory pension scheme
Prior to lockdown the Settlement reviewed its strategic aims for the medium and long term; the outcome included a commitment to several new and exciting developments including a new Wellbeing Centre by Edgbaston Reservoir and a large Youth/Community Centre in Kingstanding. Despite Covid-19 we are now delivering on those commitments and have entered a period of significant growth; as part of that growth we are looking to appoint an energetic and committed Social Enterprise Manager to help us continue to build and deliver our vision for the future.
This is a new role leading in the development of the Settlement’s core assets – building partnerships and programmes to grow earned and funded income. To be successful, you will have a proven track record in developing new and growing existing services – maximising both people and physical resources. You will work across all Settlement service areas ensuring our people have the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals, creating opportunities for individuals to grow and influence the services they want and need.
You will have excellent leadership qualities with ability to motivate and inspire to get the best out of people and as part of the Settlement’s leadership team, you will play a key role in supporting the sustainability of the charity with the development and implementation of longer term strategic plans. This is a very busy, but rewarding, hands on front facing role that cuts across all aspects of the charity.
