This highly respected membership organisation are looking for a Policy and External Affairs professional to join their team on an 11 month FTC to cover for a MAT leave.

Within this role you can look forward to playing a leading role in the delivery of the organisations policy and stakeholder activity. Working closely with the Head of Policy and External Affairs, you can look forward to being the principle project manager for the organisations major policy and research projects. You will be developing and communicating the organisations views in policy and research products tailored for specific audiences. You will be drafting responses to relevant regulator and government consultations on the impact of the organisations work. Further to this, you will act as the senior liaison officer and provide support for key stakeholders within the sector.

Please note this role is remotely based at the moment due to covid-19. Their offices are based in South London and are opening for 2 days a week in September to use if required.

Your experience

  • You will be an experienced Policy professional
  • Have a solid understanding of and experience in public policy/public affairs
  • Have an understanding of government and regulatory sources
  • Have a strong stakeholder engagement ability
  • Have a strong writing ability
