Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. Through our national network of charities, we give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.
As an Account Officer, you'll be the face of service delivery within the Help to Claim programme team and for local Citizens Advice. In this role you'll be working across the organisation and with local Citizens Advice, helping to run our service delivery function.
You'll be the main point of contact for local Citizens Advice and will support them to deliver a high profile, national multi channel service to our clients.
You'll also work with them to solve problems and help them find solutions, including for complex problems as they arise. You'll be able to draw on a range of resources to help this happen including the wider account management team.
Our roles are open to discussion about flexible working, which may include arrangements such as part-time working, formalised flexitime, fixed (non-standard) working hours, working from home and job-sharing. Flexible working - while our teams are office based, it's fine to work from home regularly, and we welcome discussions about working part-time.
Ranked by Indeed as a top 10 non-profit employer in the UK (December 2018)
We welcome applications from Local Citizens Advice staff and are open to arranging secondments.
Please note, in the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the right to close the application early.
The National Citizens Advice Operates from offices in England and Wales, with 5 regional offices based in Cardiff, London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Liverpool, therefore all successful applicants must be based within England or Wales.
