We are looking for 2 People advisors.

Are you a People Advisor looking for a new challenge with proven experience of advising on Employee Relations matters? Do you love being busy, with no day being the same? Are you great at assessing risk and building relationships with your stakeholders?

Do you want to work for an organisation that makes a difference, every single day, to people from all walks of life? The people that turn to Citizens Advice need help overcoming an obstacle in their lives – from debt to evictions to trouble at work – and you can be key to them getting the support they need in the quickest, easiest, and most effective way.

We particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates as BAME and disabled people are currently under-represented throughout Citizens Advice. We are a member of the race equality campaign at Business in the Community, the Prince’s responsible business network and are committed to improving employment opportunities for ethnic minorities across the UK. We also welcome applications from, LGB and Trans and non binary candidates.

We have made a positive commitment to employing disabled people and guarantee to interview all disabled candidates who meet the minimum essential criteria for the role as set out in role profiles.

Last year, Citizens Advice helped 2.6 million people face-to-face, by phone, email and webchat, and we received 25 million visits to our digital advice content. We solve 7 in 10 clients' problems, and 4 in 5 tell us that advice improved their lives.

We look for people to help us improve and transform our organisation. We can offer you the opportunity to make a genuine impact and create lasting change within an organisation that makes a difference in the lives of millions of people every year.

In this role you will need to be able to independently and in line with legislation, internal policies and organisational approach advise managers on all matters relating to sickness, capability, conduct and grievance and risk and therefore experience of giving advice on these issues is essential. You will become part of a small team of People Advisors, and there will be many opportunities for sharing knowledge and best practice. Complex and high risk ER cases will be escalated to relevant Business Partners. There may be a requirement and opportunity to get involved in other people related matters, such as payroll, recruitment, production of MI information, and potential to support other project work within the organisation.

Please note, in the event of a high number of applications, we reserve the right to close the application early.
