Dogs Trust is looking to appoint an outstanding individual as their new Head of Corporate Partnerships. 

This is a new role which has been created to support the growing work of the Corporate Partnerships and Corporate Development Teams, with responsibility to develop a strategy that will deliver a significant increase in corporate income to support the work of the Dogs Trust.

You will be joining one of the fastest growing brands in the charity sector and be responsible for converting the high public awareness and love for the Dogs Trust’s work into relationships with some of the best-known brands in the UK and globally.

The mission of Dogs Trust is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. Although it has well over a hundred years of history, it was the charity's decision to embrace a non-destruction approach to dog welfare, 50 years ago, that defines Dogs Trust. From that point on Dogs Trust has led the dog welfare sector in every venture; the proactive and reactive measures the charity has delivered since then have brought the numbers of dogs put to sleep in government shelters down by 97%. Today Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and, as a charity solely funded by the donations of its amazing supporters, success through Corporate Partnerships has never been more important. 

Based in London and reporting to the Deputy Director, Philanthropy & Corporate Partnerships, this role is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on Corporate Fundraising at Dogs Trust. You will lead on the charity’s commercial relationships and play a critical role in developing the Corporate Partnerships Strategy. Providing expert leadership in the development of new-business strategy as well as retaining and uplifting existing corporate partnerships, you will hold specialist knowledge in new business and account management at a senior level within a national charity setting. You will also have extensive experience of leading teams to six and seven figure partnerships in a charity setting, the ability to think strategically, and the skills to both develop and implement strategy.
