Description
Key responsibilities of the Head of Analytics & Data include:
- Use analysis, evidence and learnings to contribute to day-to-day strategic decisions as well as overarching business strategies of the marketing and programme delivery teams
- Manage the analytics team to deliver periodic analytics reports for each of their regions and areas (non-commercial digital, e-commerce, B2B and campaign marketing, etc.
- Ensure reports are insightful and action-focused, making recommendations to improve digital marketing activities (display, SEO, PPC, social, media) and website assets (user journeys and experience, conversion and website functionality in order to provide insights on how users are interacting with the website)
- Implement dashboards using Tableau, Alteryx, Adverity or other appropriate analytics tools
- Use modern analytics and machine learning techniques to provide in-depth, real-time and comprehensive insights for the organisation
- Use team knowledge and your unique unbiased position working across all areas of the organisation to advise peers on how data and analysis can inform their work
- Managing vendors and negotiating contracts
- Expand organisational awareness and knowledge of Analytics through effective leadership.
Profile
To be successful as the Head of Analytics & Data, you will need:
- Hands-on exposure to leading web analytics teams, defining KPIs, building dashboards, and performance reporting.
- Leadership capacity including team coaching, managing budgets, creating the analytics roadmap
- Capacity to work with senior stakeholders across different divisions and countries
- Understanding of Google Tag Manager, Google analytics, SQL, and visualisation tools, data strategy and architecture.
- Enthusiasm and energy
- Excellent verbal and written communication capacity
