About Paul Strickland Scanner Centre

Based in the grounds of Mount Vernon Hospital, Paul Strickland Scanner Centre has been a pioneering, independent medical charity since 1985. Following an intense market research programme and stakeholder consultation, we recently rebranded and explicitly focussed our brand on cancer imaging, a field we’re an internationally recognised leader in and which is close to the heart of our patients and supporters.

Our business is providing CT, MRI and PET-CT scans for mainly cancer patients, and our scanners and other equipment are frequently updated to make sure our patients enjoy the highest quality care we can provide. We also support ground-breaking medical research to bring about breakthroughs in the diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of cancer.

In addition to your salary, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £3,722 and a maximum payment of £4,743 per annum pro rata.

Mount Vernon Cancer Centre is a well-respected, non-surgical cancer centre based in Northwood in Middlesex – providing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to over 5,000 patients a year. It is currently run by East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust (ENHT) and consistently receives positive patient feedback.
