Do you have experience of developing activities and events that engage and inspire donors? Could you help to attract supporters to one of the UK's largest charities?

If so, you could be the Senior Donor Relations Executive we need.

About the role


The Donor Relations team, sits within our Philanthropy and Partnership (P&P) team and as Senior Donor Relations Executive, you'll play a key role in developing activities including the management of a communication planner and supporting on events that seek to engage and inspire new and existing donors.

You'll support the Philanthropy and Partnerships team to deliver their ambitious targets by delivering a comprehensive programme of tailored cultivation and stewardship activity that is designed to attract, engage and retain BHF's highest value supporters.

Playing a vital role in a programme of events for the P&P team, including our donor led events and partnership breakfast briefings you'll use data and insight to attract, engage and drive long-term loyalty and help fund our lifesaving research. Your key responsibilities will include organising key mailings to keep our donors up to date on our organisation wide activities, working with fundraisers on stewardship plans and creating a new thanking process.

About you

You'll have experience of delivering to a high standard a number of projects including stewardship, engagement and cultivation events and activities, which includes planning, budgeting, event delivery, analysis and evaluation.

You'll also need:
* Excellent organisation skills
* A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving
* Experience of working with senior leaders and high value volunteers and supporters
* Excellent communication, people management and relationship building skills.

Please note you'll be required to work some evenings to deliver events and attend meetings as needed for this role.
