Chief Executive

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

NOAH is a Luton-based charity working across Bedfordshire, with over 30 years’ experience in supporting those who are among the most disadvantaged, are facing crisis and have nowhere else to turn. We provide a practical, empowering, caring and, at times, life-saving service to rough sleepers, those who are marginalised and socially excluded, and people who have fallen into extreme poverty. NOAH is passionately committed to finding better and more effective ways of addressing need.

This is a demanding role. NOAH is highly regarded locally and seen by key statutory partners as a vital contributor to the common good of the community. They recognise the positive impact of a service that is geared primarily to the constructive and lasting benefit of its beneficiaries and delivered with innovation, unwavering commitment and effective outcome.

It requires to be led by an exceptional leader who is driven by values and commitment to serve those among society’s most vulnerable people. You will have experience in a senior position together with the ability to translate Catholic Social Teaching into practical and effective action.

If you believe in the fundamental dignity and worth of every individual and have a resolve to work with those who are among the most in need to improve their life quality and opportunities, have had significant leadership experience, can demonstrate a record of successful management and be an advocate for the people NOAH supports, then we would definitely like to hear from you.

To succeed in this role you will clearly identify with our founding ethos, our vision and our values and have an understanding of the Catholic world. You will be a facilitative and supportive leader who can inspire your team, colleagues, supporters and stakeholders.

If you are that person, you can make a difference!

Closing date for applications is 31st January 2020.

First round interviews planned for week commencing 17th February 2020.

Second round interviews planned for week commencing 2nd March 2020.
