Job Details
We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Fundraiser to implement our client’s fundraising strategy in relation to corporate, community and individual donors ensuring that our client can continue to deliver support to meet the needs of those who have been raped and abused across Avon and Somerset.
Due to the nature of the organisation applications are open to women only (exempt under the Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9, Part 1).
Position: Fundraiser
Hours: Part time 27.5 hours per week (Some home working will be possible)
Salary: £25,000 per annum pro-rata
Based: The role can be based from either the Bristol or Taunton Hub (Travel across the region is required)
Benefits: 5% pension, 27 days annual leave + bank hols (pro rata)

About the role:
As Fundraiser you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising to implement the Fundraising Strategy specifically in the areas of community, corporate and individual donors. You will deliver income targets through proactive donor recruitment and excellent donor stewardship. This includes supporting and retaining existing supporters and researching new key relationships with individuals as well as partnerships with local businesses, groups and associations.
This is an exciting the opportunity to join our client’s team and to work in a varied and busy role within a collaborative and supportive environment.
About you:
You will be an ambitious and enthusiastic fundraising professional, who is flexible and target driven and has an ability to recognise new opportunities and develop existing relationships to deliver against set goals.
You will have a great understanding of community and fundraising events and an ability to network with corporates and build relationships with supporters.
You will have a proven record of:
- Raising funds in a community setting or related discipline
- Working as part of a geographically disperse team
- Experience of donor acquisition, retention and stewardship
- Sound knowledge of different methods of fundraising
- Excellent skills in communications, influencing and negotiation
You may also have experience as a Fundraising Manager, Regional Fundraising Manager, Fundraiser, Fundraising, Corporate Fundraiser, Events Fundraiser, Corporate Partnerships Manager, Major Donor Fundraiser, etc.
