Community Learning Tutor 

Kidderminster 

Up to £26,260 per annum

 

Full time - 39 hours per week

Fixed term for 24 months

 

Our client’s purpose is to help improve the lives of those living in need in Worcestershire.

 

They are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced tutor/assessor to join their Community Learning Team. The work involves delivering accredited and non-accredited training to small groups and providing 1-2-1 support. The team has a successful track record in supporting adult learners who are: 

  • Long term unemployed and economically inactive 

  • Company Employees 

  • Tenant and Community Representatives

 

There will be a focus on supporting learners to develop their skills around employability, digital inclusion, managing a tenancy and personal wellbeing. You will help learners grow in confidence and use their skills to improve their lives and potentially gain employment. You will be able to; deliver a quality learning experience, which you can adapt to meet the needs of learners and help develop the range of courses offered.

 

You will hold a relevant teaching qualification and it would be desirable if you hold an Information, Advice & Guidance Qualification.

 

Due to the nature of this work, a basic DBS disclosure will be required for successful applicants.
