Part time hours 24 hours per week

Applications are invited for a part time counsellor at The North West Police Benevolent Fund, St Michael’s Lodge.  

St Michael’s Lodge is a Charity for Police and retired officers, situated in the village of Langho within the Ribble Valley, which offers first class facilities for its members including physiotherapy treatment, counselling and holistic therapy treatments and many classes including Pilates and Ai Chi.

This is an exciting post and will be part of the Mental Health Team at Langho, applicants must either be Accredited Counsellor (BACP) or be working towards this qualification within 2 years and be passionate about a high quality of service.  The post holder will work specifically with individuals who work with high levels of risk, challenging roles and traumatic incidents. A knowledge of the emergency services would be advantageous.
