Description

The role of the Events and Marketing Manager will include:

• Being accountable for the growth, development and management of an annual event
• Presenting recommendations on the latest show trends and innovations.
• Driving strategy and taking responsibility to reach the annual revenue target
• Provide and present a full written progress report to the Board on a monthly basis
• Effectively promote and market the charity and its events, working with a marketing agency to provide a range of promotional materials
• Manage 8 permanent members of staff ensuring that they deliver on time, to budget and the highest quality

Profile

The successful Events and Marketing Manager will have the following experience:

• Experience of event and project management, planning and running large corporate events.
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of how to create and deliver an effective marketing and communications plan
• Exceptional project direction and management skills, ability to manage multiple timelines, deadlines and actions in a collaborative and fast paced environment
• Strong experience in creating and designing event programmes, including event themes, messaging and branding.
• Excellent client management, confident in building relationships and pitching new ideas to senior stakeholders
• Excellent problem solving skills, able to develop solutions and overcome obstacles
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills
• Self-­motivated, strong initiative and high energy
• Passionate about achieving business success and driving improvement
