Prospectus is delighted to be working with one of the longest-standing educational establishments specialising in veterinary care. They are looking to recruit an Events and Marketing Coordinator to support the effective running of the department relating to all areas of events and marketing.

As the organisation's Events and Marketing Coordinator, you will provide high level administrative support of all matters concerning the extended student induction programme, as well as support the planning, marketing and implementation of the programme. You will work closely with the wider team to design events, including arranging dates, venues, catering and travel, as well as liaising with external and internal attendees. You will also act as a content editor for the Directorate's social media, website and intranet presence along with being the key point of contact to liaise with the external relations team to promote all events and activities. Working closely with the marketing team, you will also support in producing marketing materials including posters, flyers and brochures.

To be considered for this post, you will have previous event support experience together with experience of organising meetings and consultations, and handling event logistics. With strong attention to detail, you will have the ability to manage, promote and deliver events, activities and projects together with experience in editing website copy and social media sites. A degree level qualification is desirable although not essential to this post. You will have exceptional communication skills along with the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people and prioritise competing deadlines.
