Grants and Projects Development Manager (PT)
Salary: £30,000 per annum FTE, pro-rata 3 days a week
Contract type: Permanent, Part time
Location: Taunton, Somerset

Grant funding is an important income stream for our client, a Wildlife Trust based in Somerset. They are looking for a Grants Development Manager to help develop and secure funding for projects, which will enable them to restore and enhance Somerset’s special natural environment and involve more people in achieving their aims.

If you are an experienced bid writer with a proven track record of securing high value grants and developing successful projects, this is a brilliant opportunity for you. You will have demonstrable experience of cultivating funding partnerships, and want to use your creativity, energy and commitment to protect Somerset’s natural environment and help more people care about and act for wildlife.

You don’t have to be a conservation expert for this role, and the Wildlife Trust would welcome applicants with relevant experience from all sectors.

The successful candidate will be based in Taunton but you will also need to travel to locations around the county, including, due to the rural nature of Somerset, by using your own car. Some home working will also be possible for the right candidate.

This is an exciting time to join the Wildlife Trust as they are developing their future strategy under the leadership of a new Chief Executive. You will be part of a dynamic fundraising team and a well-respected conservation charity working to ensure Somerset remains one of the most wildlife-rich and habitat-diverse counties in Britain.

Closing date: 9am, Monday 2 December 2019
Interview date: The interviews with take place on Monday 9th December 2019 in the charity's Taunton offices.
