Project Manager 

This is an exciting time to join our client's creative and dynamic National Programmes Team as an organised, energetic and highly competent Project Manager. 

This is a busy role for a talented individual who has experience of managing effective projects, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and is passionate about raising awareness of the youth sector. They are looking for someone who is proactive and uses their initiative to find creative solutions and manage priorities. You will have excellent attention to detail, be super organised and a team player.

About them

They provide young people aged 8-25 with high quality services, delivered through a network of 3,536 local youth organisations across the UK. Together they offer support, advice and training to over 1.5 million young people to equip them with skills for the future and help them engage in education, volunteering and employment.

About the role
They are looking for an organised, energetic and highly competent Project Manager with experience of managing effective projects. You will be a key member of the National Programmes Team working across a portfolio of their inspiring projects that give young people the skills they need to grow into confident and capable adults who lead fulfilling lives.  

Their programmes tackle widespread issues and range from music and sport engagement, coding, social action, road safety, financial education and employability. Their partners and funders include Microsoft, UPS, Coca-Cola European Partners, The National Lottery Community Fund and Sport England.

You will to be responsible for managing all project related activity for multiple programmes including promotion, training sessions and events, building and maintaining relationships with delivery partners, establishing and maintaining databases, producing documents, reports and presentations and administration. 

In this exciting and flexible role, you will work closely with National Programmes team, as well as with the Finance, Impact & Learning, Membership and Communications teams, to lead the delivery of a number of programmes within the charity. You will provide support and direction to project coordinators and interns, depending on the projects that you are responsible for. You will report to a Head of National Programmes. 

You will be creative, proactive and have initiative and ideas. You will be organised, driven, reliable and have a positive approach to your work. You will be able to work at a high level both within the charity and with their charity and corporate partners, have a flexible approach to work and be prepared to travel away from home on occasion to meet operational needs.
