The Head of Communications will bring a stronger editorial voice and aesthetic to the brand, increase audience numbers and oversee a complete website upgrade.

The organisation has undergone a huge period of change in recent years with the development of artistic policy and expansion of its education work around the country.

The Head of Communications will work with the staff, Music Directors and Trustees to build on recent developments and increase its national impact.

The Orchestra has ambitious plans for the future and the Head of Communications will take a central role in shaping the organisation's progress and development.

A key objective for this new role is to develop strategies to inspire young people to engage with music and broaden the conversation.

The Head of Communications is a Member of the Senior Management Team.

The position can taken either Full Time or Part Time for four days a week, with flexible hours and working from home to suit.

The head office is at the Piccadilly Circus end of Regent Street.
