An environmental NGO at the forefront of advocating and campaigning for a more sustainable future, is now looking for a highly motivated Applications Specialist to support, maintain and develop across their estate of core business applications to ensure that both the charity's people and campaigns will thrive.

You will be responsible for proactively pursuing business process improvements, participating in, and in some cases, leading on innovative and developmental projects. To ensure you are delivering a responsive and positive centred customer service approach, you will ensure that you deliver on the demanding and rapidly changing needs of a dynamic and successful organisation. This will be achieved by working side-by-side with their technology colleagues and key stakeholders in identifying and implementing improvements and innovative changes!

We are seeking a technically proficient individual who is well-versed in the latest Microsoft technologies such as Office 365, and understands the nuances of cloud computing, ideally having previously used Azure Cloud. With previous experience of improving business processes and building capacity, you will also be comfortable with quickly learning new technologies and in understanding how they interface with each other. Importantly, you will be adept at communicating complex issues to different audiences while also bringing both the team and stakeholders with you in resolving issues, exceeding expectations and ultimately improving the service that the charity offers.

This fantastic role sits with a team of experts in application support, IT Infrastructure and technology solutions who work together using an ITIL-based service desk; this is a friendly, fast-paced and engaged department that supports over 180 staff and volunteers across London and regional offices, and remote workers around England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
