Remuneration - 35,496
Contract Permanent, 39 hours p/w

Harris Hill is delighted to be assisting the fantastic UK crisis support charity, Hestia, in the search for a new Business Development Manager at their London Office.

Hestia is a National charity that works predominantly in the Capital, striving to support individuals experiencing domestic abuse, modern slavery and mental health needs. The organisation relies on 90% of its fundraising support from contracts. These contracts are typically 1 year in length and predominantly come from public funding, such as; NHS, local authorities and tenders. However, whilst the charity, works with numerous public funding streams, your role will predominantly focus on tenders as a source of funding. As the postholder, you will report directly to the Head of Innovation and Partnerships.

Hestia are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their vibrant team. The crux of the role is to engage and build new partnerships opportunities by ways of public funding. Due to the short nature of contracts you must be sharp-eyed for new opportunities, ensuring a continuous stream of funding. Moreover, as an applicant you must be a strong bid writer and have proven experience of business development; a large proportion of your role is BD. The role itself has very little overlap with your other colleagues' areas of expertise.
To be considered for this role you will need to be well versed in building and managing relationships with current and future sources of funding. Significant experience of successful fundraising from donors. Demonstrable excellent written communication skills and project management skills.
If you would like to receive a full job specification for this role or have a confidential conversation, please send your cv to ruaidhri.morris@harrishill.co.uk or call Ruaidhri at Harris Hill on 0207 820 7312.

This is a rolling recruitment so early applications are encouraged.

Only suitable candidates will be contacted.

We look forward to hearing from you.
