Our client are seeking customer focused and target-driven Employment Advisors to assist and motivate Young People age 16 - 24 to overcome barriers to employment and assist them into sustainable employment or training opportunities through their NEETS project.

Contract: Fixed Term 12 months
Full time 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £24,500

Our client is a leading social and environmental regeneration charity delivering over 500 social and environmental projects each year, many of which support people to stay in education, gain new skills and secure employment. The Trust has secured a significant number of Employment and Skills contracts from funders including Skills funding Agency, DWP and The National Lottery Community Fund and this is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to join their high performing, growing team that will support over 2000 unemployed Londoners to gain new skills and progress into employment.

You will hold IAG level 3 or above and have experience in delivering a structured IAG programme and supporting the delivery of training to young people.

Your responsibilities will include employer engagement and outreach work to identify eligible and suitable participants to access employment and training opportunities. You will be working with individuals with barriers to work including long term unemployment and disabilities or long term health conditions and will be undertaking assessments, designing and monitoring individual action plans and delivering support including CV writing, interview skills, applications and job-search techniques to prepare them to progress into sustainable employment.

A team player, you will offer excellent customer service and have the ability to organise and facilitate recruitment on behalf of employers and candidates. You will independently source and secure other employment opportunities with employers and actively broker clients into these roles.
