EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT LIAISON | UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION

The Executive Development Liaison will know what is going on in every area of the University Foundation and will work closely with and report directly to the Director of Development.

You will funnel, filter and facilitate work requiring a high level of skill and discretion on behalf of the Director of Development.

You will see, learn about, and participate in the whole of the Foundation's business and many, if not all, of its functions, and help mind the gaps in coverage between groups and ensure duplication of work does not occur.

You will manage communications to ensure that important messages are relayed and cascaded to the Director of Development's direct reports and colleagues across the university.

General responsibilities include:

• Supporting the development and execution of strategy
• Facilitating operations and special projects, following up on decisions and resolving issues before they reach the executive
• Fact-checking information and materials
• Executing or overseeing work that has no clear departmental owner
• Interacting with key stakeholders, both internal and external
• Providing critical executive support to the Director of Development
• Promoting a culture of donor-centred development and stewardship
• Understanding the ongoing and evolving business of the Foundation and use initiative to align programmes with prospect and donor requirements
