Description

The Communications and Outreach Officer will take responsibility across the following key areas:

• Developing the strategy and content for social media channels.
• Produce the School's digital communications across their website.
• Working collaboratively with other departments in professional services and academic departments.
• Develop the admissions, outreach and student recruitment strategies for prospective students.
• Document the School's internal and external exhibitions and events.
• Media relation management and press liaison.

Profile

The candidate that secures this position will bring the following skills and attributes:

• Excellent written communication skills, including drafting, editing and proofreading.
• Understanding of educational or not-for-profit environments.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Self-starter with strong initiative.
• Microsoft Office, CRM and database software, website and social media channels, and basic HTML (desirable).
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), and PowerPoint/Keynote.

Job Offer

Job Offer:

• £25,000-£30,000.
• 15 days annual leave + 25 school closure days and bank holidays.
• Working hours 10-6pm.
• Permanent role.
• 1-year FTC.
