Director of Support and Housing

Flexible location with travel throughout the UK

Competitive salary

At Centrepoint we are passionate about our work, and want to see all of the young people we support fulfil their potential and ambitions. Through services across London, Manchester, Yorkshire and the North East, we provide accommodation, support for physical and mental health, and programmes to help young people into education, training and employment so that every young person in our care is able to leave us with skills, a job and an affordable home.

The Director of Support and Housing will play a pivotal role in enabling young people to secure these outcomes. Working collegiately and proactively with colleagues on the Senior Executive Team they will inspire and motivate staff and young people.

To be successful in this role, you will share our unwavering belief in every young person's potential. An outstanding ability to cultivate positive relationships and engage with a wide range of stakeholders is central to the role, as is significant knowledge and understanding of all aspects of supported housing as it relates to young people. You should also have experience of building, and delivering, through high performing teams.

You will be a confident leader with the personal credibility and qualities to navigate the complex and challenging landscape of youth homelessness. You will also be entrepreneurial, innovative and open to new ideas, always thinking about how to improve Centrepoint's offer to the young people it supports.

It is a very exciting time to join us and this is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated, collaborative and committed individual to play a pivotal leadership role in achieving lasting, positive social impact through the UK's leading youth homelessness charity.
