Are you a Gift Aid specialist?

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting an international animal charity as they look to recruit a brand new role into the organisation looking to encourage increase Gift Aid income from supporters by ensuring all the correct processes and procedures are in place across the Fundraising, Communications and Finance teams.

You will be working across the organisation to ensure that supporter communications and third party operations are currently compliant and in line with HMRC guidelines, Gift Aid rules and sector best practice. This will enable fundraisers to maximise this income and ensure that accurate claims are delivered. You will be line managing one compliance member of staff and ensure up to date and accurate procedures and internal communications are in place.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with fundraising departments with a deep understanding of the Gift Aid rules to ensure that the Gift Aid scheme is accurately communicated and compliantly claimed. They will also ideally possess an understanding of industry bodies such as Charity Commission, Fundraising Regulator and Fundraising Code of Practice. This post requires an excellent communicator with the ability to encourage and support those around you as well as deliver complex information to a variety of internal stakeholders in an accessible and relevant way.
