Job Details

This leading University Summer School attracts large numbers of global candidates to their central London campus. It will be the responsibility of the Head of Student Recruitment to deliver these recurring impressive numbers and see through the 2020 recruitment cycle. This is an opportunity to join a commercially driven team with a strong presence in the sector.

Description

The Head of Student Recruitment will take responsibility across the following key areas:

  • Seeing through the 2020 recruitment cycle.
  • Development and execution of the marketing strategy.
  • Accountability for the marketing budget across all channels.
  • Ensure solid communications across all channels.
  • Management of a large team across response handling, student recruitment and marketing.
  • Lead the admissions and response handling teams.
  • Build effective relationships with leadership and stakeholders throughout the School, wider University and externally.
  • Oversee the development of the student experience to ensure it is managed effectively at each stage.

Profile

The candidate that secures this position will bring the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven track record of successfully building and leading a team, establishing a positive and motivational culture and driving for optimum achievement across all members.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Experience operating in a complex organisation.
  • Understanding of the Higher Education sector and student recruitment activities.
  • Development and implementation of marketing and student recruitment plans.
  • Proven experience of building long-term relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Job Offer

  • £65,000-£70,000.
  • 7-12 month contract (depending on applicant preferences).
  • Full time position with possibilities of part time 4 days a week.
  • Start in December or January at the latest.
  • Possibilities of continuing on in the role on a permanent basis.
