We are looking for a Fundraiser to join us and help to achieve our ambition of beating leprosy. You will play a key role in helping us to achieve our ambitious goals by diversifying our income streams and growing unrestricted fundraising income.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for driving income generation and increasing Lepra’s profile within communities, including building new relationships with donors, corporates and other organisations to develop sustainable funding sources.
• Relationship building and network development Maximise fundraising opportunities through the use of Lepra's appeals literature Nurture strong, positive and lasting fundraising relationships from all channels, including schools, faith groups and community events.
• Ideally you will bring your experience in building and maintaining relationships to the fundraising team.   

This is a home based role, with a requirement for flexible working in order to attend out of hours events in the evening or the weekend, as appropriate. Duties day to day will include undertaking talks and networking with relevant agencies and organisations. Administrative fundraising tasks include donation processing, thanking our Donor’s, and keeping our database updated.

The ability to travel is required. A car will be required to be available for business use, expenses payable. There is also a requirement to attend occasional meetings at Lepra main office in Essex, England.
