The Mix is the UK's leading support service for those under 25s, providing free confidential support on a range of topics to over 2 million young people each year. The Mix provides support online, over the phone and via social media, connecting young people with experts and peers to talk about everything from money to mental health, from relationships to obtaining employment! The Mix is now recruiting for a passionate Team Leader to oversee their helpline team, providing effective one to one support to young people both over the phone, via webchat and by email.

As The Mix's new Helpline Team Leader, you will manage and mentor a team of Helpline Support Workers to deliver high quality, person-centered support to each and every service user. You will provide effective rota coordination, ensuring all support channels are appropriately staffed and resourced, and will monitor the support provided to ensure that it complies with legal, ethical, regulatory and social requirements. You will monitor your team's targets to ensure the maximum amount of people are being responded to, and will coordinate data-led service improvements, responding to user trends and needs to ensure continuous improvement of the service.

To apply for this role you must have extensive experience of coordinating or managing services for young people. You must have demonstrable experience of facilitating and supporting change within a service or team, and of improving service delivery to under 25s. You will have significant experience of trouble-shooting and resolving technical issues, and of motivating and developing staff. Overall, you will be a skilled leader, passionate about ensuring high quality support services for a variety of young people.
