Trainee Welfare Benefits Caseworker

Hours: 36 per week

Location: Citizens Advice St Helens

Salary: Commencing at £19571 + up to 5% pension contribution

Details of the post: We are looking to recruit a Trainee Welfare Benefits Caseworker to assist in the provision of our Welfare Benefits advice services to residents of St Helens

This post will offer comprehensive training and support to enable the successful candidate to achieve the required competences within 9 - 12 months.

Knowledge and experience of Welfare Benefits would be an advantage but not essential.  Ideally you should have one-years’ experience of dealing with clients in a Citizens Advice or similar advice service setting.

Advice sessions will take place by way of appointments at the main Office, outreach venues, as well as staffing a ‘late night’ session. Assist with the updating of all areas of Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
