Job Title: Events Manager
Hours: 37.5 to include evening and weekend work in order to meet the business needs of the role
Location: Cransley Hospice Trust Fundraising Office Kettering NN15 7PW
Salary: £26-32k plus generous leave allowance
Reporting to: Director of Income Generation
At Cransley Hospice we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Events Fundraiser to join our successful team.
You will be joining us at a pivotal point in the development of our overall fundraising strategy and will play a key part in helping to shape and deliver our events portfolio.
As someone who has gained significant experience in forecasting and delivering to agreed targets whilst working to an expenditure budget, you will be able to demonstrate an excellent ROI for all projects undertaken.
You must be able to evidence success in events, which includes some mass participation development and possess excellent communication and marketing skills.
The role will directly line manage the events coordinator.
Volunteers are key to our success and therefore experience of recruiting and managing volunteers is also a requirement of this role.
At Cransley Hospice we are determined to improve End of life care in the county through leadership of the development and funding for, Specialist Palliative Care services and engagement with End of Life provision. We are a small but growing team with a professional and proactive approach to all we do.
Overall aim of the role
Working with the Director of Income Generation, develop a strategy to deliver, implement and grow new and sustainable events in order to meet and exceed fundraising targets.
Deliver exceptional donor care and communications to supporters reflecting the sensitive nature of the work of Cransley Hospice.
