Our client is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to play a key role in its Development Department. This new role will support the stewardship function of the Individual Giving team by researching and creating impactful stewardship reports for the organisation's major donors. With excellent verbal and written communication skills, the candidate will also enjoy working on proposals for new gifts. The post-holder will be able to build strong internal and external relationships, including with curators and advocates.

As a highly organised and motivated individual, you will perform well under pressure and be able to meet significant, but achievable, objectives. You will also possess excellent project management skills and will ideally be looking to secure a role in one of the sector's leading development teams.

The successful candidate will have experience working in fundraising, and aspirations to grow within a large organisation. You do not need experience of making the ask and securing gifts face-to-face, but rather will have aspirations to do so; you will have the opportunity to develop these skills once this new role is established. You will also enjoy supporting a successful Major Gifts team. Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal office hours is essential, but consideration will also be given to flexible working during standard office hours for the right candidate
