Senior Trust Manager
Are you an experienced Trust Fundraiser? Do you have experience of leading a team to achieving ambitious targets? Do you have ability to write persuasive and compelling cases and proposals?
If so, you may be the Senior Trust Manager we’re looking for.
About the role
It’s an exciting time to be at the BHF as we’ve recently made some big decisions in terms of growth; through our philanthropic networks we aim to raise £20million by 2024 and have established the foundations for future growth and success.
As Senior Trust Manager you’ll be responsible for all Trust, Foundation and Institutional fundraising at the BHF, particularly leading the Trust Team to grow income in line with the wider Philanthropy team's objectives.
You’ll achieve set and ambitious income targets with a particular focus on securing six and seven figure gifts and pledges while also developing and delivering plans to grow the Trusts pipeline and ensure that the team are delivering high quality stewarding to existing donors to encourage long term support.
We’re looking for someone with extensive previous trust fundraising experience.
You’ll have excellent written skills with the ability to write persuasively, as well as an excellent eye for detail and an analytical and focused nature.
When applying, we want you to tell us about your:
• Proven experience of successful fundraising from both private family Trusts and Foundations and Institutional funders
• Experience of making successful 6 figure asks and working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and execute solicitation plans
• Line management experience
• Experience of writing compelling funding proposals from scratch
With strong relationship building and line management skills, being a team player and having the drive to maximise funding opportunities are a must.
In return we offer a generous benefits package including flexible working, healthcare cover, dental plan, subsidised gym membership and substantial annual leave.
We research all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart disease, Stroke, Vascular Dementia, Diabetes and many more. All connected, all under siege. Because our research is the promise of future cures and treatments.
