Citizens Advice Halton are seeking to recruit an Employability Officer to work on their Direction Project from Halton’s two offices (in Runcorn and Widnes).

The Directions Project is a new multi-agency, Liverpool City Region wide partnership, funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) with the aim of increasing the employability of local people who are currently unemployed or economically inactive.  Citizens Advice Halton will support eligible local people to: undertake some introductory training in advice areas; receive employability support; and gain sought after employment skills and experience through volunteering. 

Working with the Directions project’s Training Officer to achieve the project’s overall aims and targets, the Employability Officer will also lead on the provision of employability support to the project’s participants for Citizens Advice Halton, across Runcorn and Widnes.

You must be able to show that you have experience of delivering employability support through 1-2-1 and group work to participants including the design and delivery of training and other support interventions, to increase the employability, confidence, and goals of participants.

Leave: 25 days holiday per annum + bank holidays
