Harris Hill is delighted to be assisting the fantastic charity, Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT), in the search for a new Deputy Director of Public Fundraising at their London Office.

TCT is a National charity that works across the country, providing expert treatment and support to young adults from the moment they hear the word cancer. In the 2017-18 financial year, the organisation relied on 54.5% of its income from donations and public fundraising. Of this income, 54.2% went towards cancer services. The organisation run various events throughout the year for those affected by the disease, such as Find Your Sense of Tumour , which is held on a weekend and is packed full of educational and therapeutic sessions as well as social activities. TCT rely on their volunteer workers as much as their full-time staff to dedicate their lives to making the cancer journey more bearable.

TCT are looking for an exceptional Deputy Director of Public Fundraising to establish a business-critical new function. TCT need their Deputy Directors to be brilliant cross-organisational leaders with stacks of emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement skills. You will have overall accountability for delivering significant income growth across all areas of Public Fundraising including Individual Giving, Innovation and Challenge Events and enabling the full Fundraising department with effective support from Fundraising Standards & Operations.

To be considered for this role you will need to be well versed in building and managing relationships with current and future donors; have significant experience of successful fundraising from donors; demonstrable excellent written communication skills and project management skills; and an ability to work to deadlines and prioritise your workload.
