TPP is currently partnering with FACE (Fellowship and Aid to the Christians of the East). This newly formed charity is the sister branch of Oeuvre d'Orient a leading and well-established international humanitarian Catholic NGO in France.

For the past 160 years, Oeuvre d'Orient has been supporting Eastern Christians in the Middle East and enabling the survival of Christianity in the Biblical lands through long-term projects in humanitarian aid, education, evangelisation, health care and pastoral support.

FACE has significant access to Oeuvre d'Orient's networks in the Middle East and North Africa, including its close links to the Eastern Catholic Churches. FACE delivers grant aid directly to specific projects which have been proposed and vetted by the local Christian communities in conjunction with Oeuvre d'Orient.

The Role

The main aim of the role is to build relationships with the charity's key community partners, not least the dioceses and parishes of the Catholic Church. You will be responsible for co-ordinating volunteers and members of the Catholic community to enable fundraising and cultivation events including presentations for second Sunday collections, visits to Catholic schools and other places of learning.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role you will have a good track record of community fundraising. You will be able to lead and inspire a range of stakeholders, including donors, sponsors and parish members. You will have excellent communication skills, including presentation skills to build cases for support and fundraising. Finally, you will have empathy for the Catholic Church and be committed to the promotion and survival of Christianity in the Middle East.

Benefits

You will receive a salary of £35,000, 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) the option of flexible working hours including some working from home after probation.
