Based in an inner city multi-racial area of Leeds, Chapeltown Citizens Advice provides a comprehensive advice service from its main office and outreaches.

Caseworker/Generalist Adviser (2 Posts)

Part time, 21.75 hours (3days)                                                                                              

Fixed term contract until 31st March 2021

You should have recent experience, full or part time equivalent, paid or unpaid, of advising clients and carrying casework within a generalist advice work setting including recent experience and a good working knowledge of all aspects of welfare rights advice. You will carry and manage your own caseload.

Caseworker/Generalist Adviser for people with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD)

The LDD project will present you with an exciting opportunity to maintain and develop a quality generalist advice service tailored to meet the specific needs of people with Learning Difficulties/Disabilities in a variety of locations - including home visits, across the City. These sessions will provide advice to people with Learning Difficulties / Disabilities and their carers.

For this position you should have knowledge and experience of working with people with learning difficulties/disabilities.

Caseworker/Generalist Adviser to Liver Transplant Pathway Patients, St James’ University Hospital, Leeds (LTPP)

The LTPP project will present you with an exciting opportunity to maintain and develop a quality generalist advice service tailored to meet the specific needs to Liver Transplant Pathway Patients, St James’ University Hospital, Leeds.

For this position you should have experience and knowledge of working in a healthcare setting with patients who have serious health conditions.

Enhanced level DBS check: because these advisers will work closely with vulnerable clients an enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful applicants.
