Prospectus is excited to be supporting Diabetes UK in their search for a Regional Fundraiser. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and successful team for an organisation that will not give up until we have a world where diabetes can do no harm. Diabetes UK has an incredible Community Fundraising Team and the wider Fundraising Directorate is sector-leading in its relationship fundraising approach.
The Regional Fundraiser will be responsible for increasing contributions of individuals, groups and companies in your area by developing and maintaining existing relationships with supporters. Your ultimate goal is to forge positive relationships for Diabetes UK across the region and you will do this by effectively using local opportunities like family days, care events, and awareness raising events.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and manage a busy workload, especially across a portfolio of local meetings and events. You will enjoy meeting new supporters and thinking creatively about how new communities and groups can support the organisation. The post holder will also be able to effectively communicate and cooperate with the wider fundraising and engagement directorate and charity.
At Prospectus we invest in your journey as a candidate and are committed to supporting you in your application. In order to apply please submit your CV in the first instance and begin to prepare your supporting statement. Should your experience be suitable, we will send you the full job description and will arrange for a call and/or meeting to brief you on the role. You will then have all the information you need to formally apply. We are looking forward to speaking with you soon.
