SALARY: £32,000 - £34,000

Every day, around 300 people are diagnosed with macular disease. It’s the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK. Macular disease is cruel and isolating. It steals your sight, your independence, and your ability to do the things you love. There is only one way to Beat Macular Disease for good. Our client must fund more research now, until we find a cure, or find treatments that stop it in its tracks.

They are working to deliver their ultimate ambition – to Beat Macular Disease for the next generation. They are determined to end the fear and isolation of macular disease with world-class research and the best advice and support.

As part of their 5 year strategy, they have committed to double the number of people they support through their 1 to 1 and face to face services around the UK, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

A key member of the team, this role will develop relationships with current and potential volunteers, developing and supporting their groups and volunteers in South Scotland.

The role is home based, with frequent travel throughout Southern Scotland (and occasionally across the UK). Some occasional evening/weekend work may be needed.
