Prospectus is pleased to be partnering with ABF: The Soldier's Charity to recruit their new Events Executive. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a sector leading national events team and an organisation committed to giving support to soldiers and veterans of the British Army.

The Events Executive will project manage a flagship city event year, leading on communications and planning with the events committee and chair to deliver agreed targets. Specifically, you will develop solid relationships with the entire events committee and ensure the administration and event delivery are of the highest standard. You will develop a series of engaging marketing plans for the flagship event and will manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, too. You will work in a team of eight events fundraisers and will also be involved in the entire calendar of events each year.

The selected candidate will have some experience working in a charitable organisation and ideally will understand fundraising and fundraising events principles. More importantly, however, you will have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail when working with lots of data, and you will be a strong, natural relationship builder. You'll enjoy working in an important, central team in an organisation and will be looking to pursue a career in the best special events the sector has to offer.
