Prospectus is pleased to be working with Sands to recruit their new Senior Trusts Officer. Sands is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity and exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to support anyone affected by the death of a baby, before, during, or shortly after birth.

The Senior Trusts Officer will lead on the establishment of a robust portfolio of trusts and foundations, as well as appropriate statutory funding bids. You will take the lead on all written trust applications, managing the existing portfolio and will scan the funding landscape for new funding opportunities. The Senior Trusts Officer will be an instrumental colleague internally, working with all programme, marketing and fundraising colleagues to ensure the best applications are delivered.

The selected candidate will have experience of implementing a trust and foundations fundraising programme and will have demonstrable experience of securing grants from grant-making bodies. You will have a strong understanding of researching trusts and foundations and ideally understand statutory funding too. Finally, you will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable working with funders face to face, over the phone, and in written communication.
