An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Project and PFI Contract Officer to join their well established Repairs Service on a permanent basis, delivering a responsive repairs and maintenance service across their estates borough-wide. 

You will ensure that the housing Private Finance Initiatives contractor meets their contractual obligations in the maintenance and improvement of the properties that they manage and maintain for the Council.  You will be on hand to provide advice on all aspects of the PFI contract and will be able to lead discussions on day to day management issues with the contractor.

You will also establish and implement performance monitoring systems, respond to formal complaints and ensure that the contractor complies with statutory compliance servicing protection, water safety and risk.

Our client is looking for a highly motivated person with experience in managing PFI contracts or TMO arrangements, providing a high quality and responsive customer focused service and ensuring value for money. You must have extensive knowledge of housing management and building maintenance.

You will be confident, outgoing and flexible, always willing to go the extra mile for our customers, including attending resident or site meetings, as necessary, in the evenings or at weekends (for which time off in lieu will be granted).
