ActionAid are recruiting for a Head of Fundraising Projects and Innovation to lead or support fundraising projects and drive forward our ambitious and exciting new innovation strategy.

ActionAid are recruiting for a Head of Fundraising Projects and Innovation to lead or support fundraising projects and drive forward our ambitious and exciting new innovation strategy. 

The Head of Fundraising Projects and Innovation will directly manage or sponsor several projects, which at the moment include but are not limited to, our Child Sponsorship Modernisation project, Child Sponsorship Reform and developing ActionAid Thailand’s fundraising programme. These are fantastic projects to be involved with and will give the post holder the opportunity to work collaboratively with several members of the wider organisation.

Another key element of the Head of Fundraising Projects and Innovation role is to coordinate and oversee new markets for the Fundraising department and to lead on new market development work for Individual Giving.

We will also look to you to lead the implementation of and support the delivery of our new fundraising innovation strategy and programme. This is based on our feminist leadership principles of power sharing, inclusion and collaboration, and aims to make ActionAid UK a global leader in fundraising innovation, and create transformational sustainable income growth.

The role of Head of Fundraising Projects and Innovation is a varied and high-profile role within ActionAid UK; it is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with a background in strategy development around innovation and product marketing.

In order to succeed within this role, it is essential that the post holder has significant fundraising experience and a track record of delivering large, cross-organisational projects; along with extensive expertise and knowledge of programmes and project management.

We are keen to receive applications from those with a proven ability to manage projects simultaneously and often remotely.

It is important that you have demonstrable experience in both strategic development and operational delivery of innovation, which you ideally you have gained within a fundraising context.
