Up to £45,000.00 per annum plus car allowance of £3,800.00

Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)

Our client is a value-orientated Housing Association working together to create communities where people want to live. They manage circa 5,500 homes over a wide geographical area and their residents include families, older people and those in need of special care and support.

They’re looking for a dynamic and experienced home ownership professional, to be the lead of their home ownership and leasehold functions. You will be a champion of good practice, committed to challenging and changing the way they work, as they move to a bright future.

This newly created role will take lead responsibility for the home ownership function, working closely with the Assistant Director of Assets & Growth to develop the sales brand and offer.

You will have an interesting and varied remit with the responsibility of managing the core functions of sales, re-sales, staircasing and leasehold management, along with the wide range of linked activities that sit in this area of the business.

You will play a key role in joining up how the organisation works, to ensure they understand and continually improve their offer, to meet the needs of their homeowners, and the communal services we provide them.

You will work closely with the Development Team to inform tenure decisions for new schemes, using well informed market analysis and your own experience.

You will also work closely with customer contact teams to deliver an easy to access customer centred service, working collaboratively with operational teams to deliver positive solutions.

You will have a demonstrable background and experience in home ownership. A strong understanding of the legislative framework relating to this area of work and its practical application.

You may be an existing manager or someone who has developed the required expertise and is confident in managing others. You will be able to clearly demonstrate your skills along with your commitment to improving services and working innovatively.

Our client offers an excellent benefits package including: DC Pension Scheme with employer’s contributions up to 10%; 25 days annual leave which increases to 28 days after 4 years’ service; additional annual leave for significant life events (moving home / getting married) and paid time off for volunteering; flexi time and flexible / agile working options; payments of professional subscription fees and free onsite parking.
If you’re passionate about their sector and the work that they do, this is a great chance to join an exciting, rewarding organisation and they’d love to hear from you!

In support of your application, please provide a written statement detailing how your skills, experience, abilities, behaviours and work-related qualities make you a suitable candidate for this role. Please note that your written statement forms an important part of their shortlisting process.
