This charity makes sure people living with MS are at the centre of everything they do. And it’s this commitment that unites them across the UK.

Their work is based on the hopes and aspirations of their MS community. Together they campaign at all levels, fund ground-breaking research and provide award winning support and information.

Their people are their greatest asset and the key to their success. They offer a vibrant, progressive environment where you will make a difference.

About this job

As an HR Business Partner you will be contributing to making the charity a great place to work. Responsible for providing support to staff and managers in your designated areas across the employee life cycle, you will help the charity ensure they recruit, engage and retain great people.

You will need to have a strong set of HR generalist skills, a proactive approach to your work and a problem-solving mindset. Ensuring the charity use their funds wisely will mean that this is a hands on role so you will manage the administrative tasks arising out of your workload.  Great MS Office and HRIS skills (SelectHR or other HRIS system) are therefore required.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR person with empathy with the Society’s mission and an interest in developing their business partner experience to join a small friendly team providing HR, L&D, payroll, benefits and welfare to internal clients.

The Society is in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on their great history and will drive them towards achieving their mission and vision as they embark on their new strategy.

Part of this exciting transformation is an office move to a different location in London. They are currently defining where and what type of accommodation this will be and they really want their staff to be involved in that decision and therefore they don’t envisage a move before Sept 2020.

Closing date: 5pm on Monday 28th October 2019
Interview date: provisionally arranged for Monday 4th November 2019
