Prospectus is proud to be partnering with the Northamptonshire Community Foundation to recruit their new Philanthropy Manager. Working within a dedicated Community Foundation team, the Head of Philanthropy will play a crucial role in the success of the charity toward not only ambitious fundraising targets, but a wider role to play within the communities of Northamptonshire.

The Northamptonshire Community Foundation works with donors who are passionate about all issues concerning Northampton and its communities. These include individuals and families, as well as large organisations so a bespoke approach to relationship management is crucial for the Head of Philanthropy to be successful. You will provide integrated advice and services to people and organisations that have set up funds and will understand when and how to develop the effectiveness and scale of existing giving.

This role will play a key part in supporting ambitious plans for the future and will work closely with the Chief Executive and Board of Trustees to attract new donors and exceptionally manage existing supporter relationships. The successful candidate is likely to have a strong understanding of fundraising, but the most important characteristics are the ability to build warm, professional and effective relationships with high-net-worth individuals and their advisors. You will love the potential that Northampton has and will care deeply about making it the best place to live and work.

At Prospectus we invest in your journey as a candidate and are committed to supporting you in your application. In order to apply, please submit your CV in the first instance and begin to prepare your supporting statement. Should your experience be suitable, we will send you the full job description and will arrange for a call and/or meeting to brief you on the role. You'll then have all the information you need to formally apply. We are looking forward to speaking with you soon.
